So the Toronto Etsy Street team had our first Christmas craft show! Needless to say that the weather wasn't our said but we did have Santa!! We all still had a wonderful time at the show and let me just say a big thank you to everyone that came out to see us! We had so much snow here in Toronto that Jem (my basset hound) had to jump from spot to spot to get anywhere! :P Anyways since the OOAK show is over Chris and I could finely get our mini Christmas tree! What do you think of the candy lights? Do you have a tree up? Gone to any good shows this year?
Thank you to everyone that made the past 2 weeks a wonderful time for me! See you all at the next ooak Christmas show!
This weekend I will be at our street teams show!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Here are photos from my thanksgiving fun! We made little pumpkin vampires and zombies. What do you think? I think they look fun! What do you think of my vanilla birthday cake! Cute right? Plus photos of Blaze helping me out with jewelry making for the One of a kind show! I can't believe its 44 more days to the show!
This past weekend has been so busy, but lots of fun! On Thursday Chris and I got our Ragamuffin kitty Blaze. Who would have thought that he would be so loving and sweet from the start! Jem our Basset Hound has takin him on as her baby, where as Snowflake our rescue Tabby cat is afraid of him. Its ok it will just take some time and everyone will be happy friends! Chris' family came over on Saturday to take Chris out for dinner, since it is his birthday today. I have also been working on lots of jewelry for the OOAK Show: Milk and cookies necklaces, bacon and eggs pan necklaces and too many chocolate chip cookies to count. But I still feel like I can't get enough done! I just need to keep with it every night and everything will be fine. Wish me luck everyone.
This past weekend we went up to Tobermory that's about 4 hours north east of Toronto. It was a lot of fun with friends having a good time. We all camped out around the cottage super fun! Wish the water was hotter but it was so beautiful. I wanna go back already! Jem seemed to really love it shes such an outdoors dog I love it!
So I have really been enjoying this English-Irish girl group called The Saterdays. (I made a playlist) I found them while I was looking at a Spice Girls musical
Anyways ya I like pop music when I work hehe nice and happy music :P
So all the info you need to know about Ragamuffins is in this video. In short they are like dogs but are cats! Whats not to love. And I know you are all thinking.. but wait doesn't Candice already have a cat (snowflake) and a basset hound (Jem) the answer is yes I do. But the long and short of it is we cat sat for my brothers cat and turns out that Snowflake really likes having an other cat around. Plus I've always wanted a ragamuffin since I have found out about cat breeds. Yes that's right there are cat breeds :P you can see every kind if you look up cats 101 on you tube! Its crazy how many breeds there are.
Anyways this is Blaze he is a 12 week old ragamuffin kitten from the only breeder in Canada. Turns out ragamuffins take a lot longer to mature so we have to wait until he is 14 weeks before we can take him home. He will be ready by the end of Aug. if not early Sep. I can't wait! Isn't he just the cuteist. Trust me when I say this is the last pet I want. I'm done!
So I have a new love for these cute little dolls called JerryBerrys These dolls are made in South Kora. Each season they make a limited edition of each doll. The dolls eyes are hand painted of full or sleepy eye look with a serial number inside there heads. What an art! The three dolls you can pick from are Jerry, Berry and Penny. I'm thinking of getting a winter doll of Penny when they come out. These dolls seem to sell out very quickly. So keep an eye out if you enjoy them.
So things are coming a long. I'm finding it a little hard to get into my work but doing anything is better then noting :) So what do you think of the tea and pancakes? What food would you like to see me make into jewelry?
The start of the pancakes
Making these guys into rings! Oh and Tie clips and cuff links!
